Leaf(t) Alone

It gently fell to the ground,
Without much of a sound
Lifeless and abandoned, it lay there,
Watching the others sway in the air
It was never ready for the sudden gust of wind that came
Holding onto the branch, at such times, was an everyday game
But today the branch didn’t hold on back; it looked away, indifferent and distant
And suddenly, their strong bond was but a mere thread; that snapped easily in the next instant
Betrayed it felt, reliving in a moment the life they had shared
A dream or reality, at the lost haven it stared
The leaf made its way slowly to the ground, end was near
And yet, love was on its mind, not death’s fear
It decided to die in the soil beneath the tree
Separated forever, but now, together they will always be.

Nice thought Chhavi....!!!

This relationship can be compared with the our relationships in day-today lives as in when we grow old, or when we die, we get free from our (strong-linked) relationships.

Keep Writing/blogging :-)

there are so many times when we take certain people or certain relationships for granted in our life- just like that of the leaves and the tree. and yet you never know when a single moment will change that forever. But yet somewhere we have the ability to keep those feelings alive and find strange ways of making that love live eternally... :)

Amazing display of feelings of a tree n a leaf..perfectly putting those feelings into words :)
It describes 2 diff. yet imp. angles:
1.The leaf's perspective - departing 4m the tree, dying n then meeting the tree again...
2.The tree's perspective - Among so many leaves, is the tree concerned abt that one leaf? I guess Yes,ab maa ko to apne sab bacche utne hi pyaare hote hai na...

Also to quote, this post reminds me of 'Gangster' fame 'Kangana Ranaut' when just before the end of the movie, she jumped from the roof to meet her beloved Shiney Ahuja 4ever with that mazaing song in backgroung 'Mujhe mat roko'

very touchy...depicting the realty of life....still ignoring this fact that we have to die and mitti mein mil jana hai.....love u
